Fall colors – knitted

Yesterday I spent a lot of time happily gardening, and appreciating the beautiful colors of the season.  However, instead of showing you yet more photos of turning trees, I thought I would share with you some other fall colors that I love.  Below is a photo of (part of) one of my favourite sweaters, one that I’m always pleased to rediscover after the summer. The design is called “Queen Anne’s lace” (American for cow parsley), by Alice Starmore. It’s in her Stillwater book.  It was a pleasure to knit and it’s a pleasure to wear.
