Second snow

I was startled and pleased to report our first snow this year on October 20th, and today we have had a second snow.  I got away from my desk at lunchtime and took a few snaps:

King's College Chapel, University of Aberdeen

Old Aberdeen always looks lovely in the snow:

Houses on the High Street, Old Aberdeen. Looking across King's College lawn (chapel just to the left of the image).

The students lost no time in frolicking:

And to finish, a view down the High Street:

The High Street, Old Aberdeen, looking towards town. On the right are the turreted gates of what was long ago the Powis estate.

As I write it is still snowing a bit, but with only about an inch on the ground at this point.  I have a feeling we may be in for another snowy winter…
