Back

Thank you all very much for your kind wishes and condolences.  I’m back home now from a rather gruelling trip back to Portland.  I am still trying to process all that happened there, and recover from jet lag.  I accomplished a lot and gave my Dad a good send-off.

A misty morning in Portland, Oregon.

  13. Hello, Christine. I’m so sorry to hear about your dad, and I hope you made the most of the visit home. It must be very hard. It’s good that you say you had a good relationship with him, so much less straightforward with all the miles in between you. x

  18. My heartfelt thanks to you all. I have tried hard to rest when I can, and as Susan suggested, to count my blessings. Coming to terms with such things is a process that can’t be rushed…
